Customer challenge: Limited financial and labour resources can keep small- and mid-tier CEMs and OEMs from taking advantage of excess inventory management programmes and the returns they can bring. In the midst of downsizing, one OEM customer needed to close a facility under deadline, but couldn't afford to take employees off the production line to accomplish the task (which included transferring excess and obsolete materials to a third-party excess inventory programme).

America II solution: We sent in our S.W.A.T. Team to pull, package, and transfer the OEM's excess and obsolete inventory to America II. We assessed the value of the inventory and placed it on consignment in our warehouse.

Outcome: Thanks to America II's ability to move its inventory, the OEM has since closed the facility and continues to collect a fair return on its initial investment.
