Customer challenge: An OEM wants to sell some of its divisions without carrying over any product.

America II solution: In addition to tailoring an excess inventory solution for this OEM customer, we integrated America II's asset management services with the company's trade-in programme by handling the disposal of its obsolete and returned finished goods in an environmentally sound manner.

Outcome: Although downsizing from 20 warehouses to 5 generated enough obsolescence to fill over 50 trailer truckloads of product, America II helped this OEM reduce the space it had once devoted to store these materials. Thanks to America II's ability to maximise its space and labour, the OEM saw a reduction in its overhead and carrying costs.
